The project titled "Russian Weekend, or Three Hours Before...” will be launched in Moscow in September. Its purpose is to inform the residents of million-plus cities about the opportunities of neighboring regions where you can get quickly and comfortably, to encourage tourists to travel there, not to neighboring countries.

Moscow was chosen as a city for a pilot project. Six regions have already joined the project, including Tula, Ivanovo and Kaluga regions. These are the regions that can be reached from the capital by almost any means of transportation. As a minimum, it is planned to increase public awareness of the opportunities – the destinations where they can travel from the point of departure.
