“In 2018, it is planned to sign a new agreement between the government of the Russian Federation and CERN, which will record Russia's participation in the second phase of the construction of the large hadronic collider and all the experiments at this facility”, - the press service of the RF Ministry of Education and Science reports.

“Besides, the new agreement is going to stipulate the participation of CERN in the construction of scientific facilities of the “megascience” class in Russia. As a result, Russia will significantly increase its level of participation in the largest international research organisation in the field of nuclear physics,” - the Ministry of Education and Science emphasised.
