The university team managed to solve 10 tasks out of 12 in the shortest time possible.

      The students of the St. Petersburg National Research University of Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics (ITMO) have for the seventh time become winners of the ACM ICPC Programming World Championship in Rapid City (South Dakota, the USA).

      The university team managed to solve 10 tasks out of 12 in the shortest time possible.

      Thus, the ITMO has kept its status of record holder as per the number of victories in the world championship in sports programming.

      Russia was represented by 13 teams from different regions: St. Petersburg (3 teams), Moscow (3 teams), Novosibirsk, Saratov, Tomsk, Yekaterinburg, Samara, Perm and Petrozavodsk.

      The ICPC Championship is the world’s most prestigious intellectual competition of young programmers.
