1913—The first heavy multi-engine airplane Russky Vityaz( Russian Knight) passes the tests.
The airplane is constructed by one of the most famous Russian aircraft designers Igor Sikorsky. This is a major breakthrough in the history of world aviation. Two and a half months later this aircraft sets a new record flying for one hour and 54 minutes while carrying seven people.
