1934—Yury Gagarin, cosmonaut, is born.
Yury Gagarin is the first man to go into outer space. After his space flight he becomes the most famous person on the planet Earth. All news-papers and magazines of the world write about him, he is awarded with multiple medals, diplomas, he is made freeman of many cities in Europe, Asia, Africa, North and South America.

1890—Vyacheslav Molotov, statesman, is born.
In 1930–1941 Molotov is the head of the Soviet government, and in 1939 he signs the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact, in which Germany and the USSR secretly divide their spheres of influence in Eastern Europe and Baltic States. Also in 1941 he signs a decree that bottles with incendiary mixture should be used by the Soviet Army. Such bottles are known as “Molotov Cocktails”.
