What is the project all about?
The project is featuring Russia, a country extending over one sixth of the Earth's firmland. Our mission is to aid you in getting the lowdown on it, our goal is to provide you with the necessary and, hopefully, the most reliable information about it. Our site is covering everything you've wanted to know about life in present-day Russia, its history, culture, economy, education, legislation, and much more.
"All the info I need about Russia is already there on the Internet," you might probably think. It's certainly true if all you're interested in is currency exchange rates, weather forecasts and population figures. And it's not quite as true if you're after the big picture. We're offering you an 3-dimensional view of the country by providing a glimpse of its past, by taking you through its regions, and by setting forward a coverage of current events in the Russian culture, education, science and business community. As we have been able to witness, the way Russia is presented abroad is often a bit inaccurate, if not inadequate. It's our mission to uncover for you Russia as it is and as we, its residents, perceive it.
Target audience of our project are the English-speaking people from all over the world who have taken fancy for Russia and dream of coming here. We're also catering to those who have had a chance to visit our country in the past and wish to keep abreast of the current events.
Please, do not take offence if your mother-tongue is not English and feel free to post your inquiries in languages other than English - we'll gladly respond to them as well, since out team members are fluent in many European languages.
Besides quality information on Russia for those planning their trips, we're offering an extensive range of tools and resources, aimed at making your preparations as efficient as possible. We're also offering our help in hand-picking the right type of accommodation, travel and transfer options for you, as well as tour guide services in Moscow and other parts of Russia. Both individuals and groups are welcome.
The Internet abounds in Russian language tourism-related sites which are not always available for non-Russian speakers, though. And we thought - why not bridge the gap? Our job is to be number one in quality we deliver. We are interactive and will try to provide feedback as quickly, comprehensively and adequately as possible. We wish you a successful and exciting journey through our site and vast Russia's expanses!
P.S.
The main goal of the project is to convey the information to our readers and we do not make the writing style our priority. English is the second language for the content managers working for this website, therefore, we would be grateful if you informed us about the errors you noticed in our content.
