None of the wonders of Kamchatka produce such a strong and clear impression that you have reached the end of the world. Khalaktyrka is precisely the end of the world.


The residents of the South Urals love Iremel. They are proud of Iremel. They invite people to visit Iremel. It is a beautiful place, besides it is successfully adapted for full-value recreation by the nature itself. Iremel has all opportunities for year-round recreation. The unusual name refers to the tender age of the cave’s vaults and the fragility of “young” stalactites and stalagmites.


The Zhigulevsky Reserve completely coincides with the territory of the national park. It can be considered a protected area of Samarskaya Luka. However, these are two different structures managed by different people. The relation of these organizations to tourism is also different. The Zhigulevsky Reserve has recently turned to face the tourists, created and improved two new routes. One of the most landscaped places of the park is the Molodetsky Burial Mound.


The paradigm of Vasiliy Klyuchevskiy “Russia is the country of forest and large slow rivers” becomes surprisingly visible in Staraya Ladoga. People have settled here since the Neolithic times.

Not far from the town of Sterlitamak, in the valley of the Belaya River, one can see famous lone mountains, Sterlitamak sheehans. The highest mountain is Tratau (Horse Mountain), the longest one - Kushtau (Bird Mountain), a smaller one - Yuraktau (Heart Mountain)... and the former biggest of the four Shakhtau (King Mountain).


Emerald-green water of the lake and its unusual depth caused many legends associated with its origin. They say, Sea Eye appeared between the hills as a result of downwrapping and took a wedding procession to its depths.


Arsky Kamen (“Arsky Stone”) is the name of the village in Beloretsk District of Bashkiria, the tourist centre next to it and the natural monument near the Belaya River. A white-gray sheer limestone cliff covered with green plants has long attracted curious travelers: they say the “peasant king” Emelyan Pugachev hid weapons and treasures looted from the landlords in its cave.


It is worth remembering that the lake is located on the northern slope of the Sharinskie Mountains, so the sun rays reach this place during only a part of the daytime. In order not to get cold, make sure you have warm clothing.


Iremelevy Mountains have been worshiped as sacred since ancient times, and people avoided climbing to their top until our days. According to the legend, a lot of treasures guarded by an ancient people - Chud (or Divyi) - are hidden in the depths of Bolshoy Iremel.


Ice, stalactites and stalagmites, uncreated sculptures, mysterious caves and underground lakes. Kungurskaya ice cave is a unique monument of nature.
