An extremely unusual attraction in Sochi is the Matsesta agro-tourism complex Eczarkho Ecofarm, which is located high in the mountains, in the picturesque surroundings of the city, specifically in the small village of Progress. This cite has long been known as the richest natural region of Russia, and it was precisely its advantageous geographical position that made it possible to form special environmental conditions that led to the emergence of beach, mountain-tourist, medical, restoring, family and business vacations.

The place is surrounded by the National Park and is great for family and corporate leisure.

Here, all attention is paid to the cultivation of organic vegetables and fruits, as well as high-quality cheeses, for horseback riders there are several local horses ready for  equestrian walk along incredibly beautiful mountains and ravines.   In summer and autumn, fruit picking is very popular among guests, regardless of the time of the year there is the opportunity to take a photo with animals,  take part in feeding the newly born animals with milk from a bottle.

The farm got its name in honor of its founder Inga Eczarkho, who moved to Moscow from Sochi several years ago. Initially, she founded the Vostochny Kvartal restaurant, and later the farm.

The complex is a laureate of a large number of competitions and exhibitions; it has been awarded the title of the best large-scale agritourism object in the region. Due to the infrastructure of the place, it is possible to carry out various types of events: excursions, teambuilding, horse riding, receptions, horse shows and other. The farm is not only a successful business enterprise, but also a curious object of agriculture and ecotourism.

Description of the   Eco farm

The place was arranged at an altitude of 450 m above sea level, it is located in one of the most beautiful corners of Matsesta. The farm has several branches:

Equestrian club "Sochi Constellation" - which has accommodated more than 30 horses of 10 breeds. The pride of the enterprise is a modern and spacious playpen. Among the breeds you can find Caucasian and Arabian horses.

Dairy -  where goat milk products are made. There are 6 cows and 100 goats on the farm.

Vegetable growing - with several greenhouses used all year round. Cucumbers, eggplant, tomatoes and other vegetables grow here.

Horticultural - with a garden of 800 trees. Here they grow figs, peaches, plums, pomegranates, raspberries and many other fruits and berries.

The place is located far from factories and major highways, so everyone who is here will immediately feel unity with nature and take a break from dusty metropolitan areas. Now the territory of the complex is equipped with film greenhouses occupying 500 m², a little later it is planned to install another 10 greenhouses using drip irrigation. Animal health is constantly monitored by veterinarians.

Vacations on the Eczarkho farm

Eczarkho Farm has a mild subtropical climate. Being in these places is pleasant in any weather thanks to the cleanest air. The territory is surrounded by high mountains, endless meadows and forest. Visitors can enjoy home-cooked meals and the spectacular landscape of Matsesta.

Here you can taste delicious homemade cakes and Matsesta green and black tea. From dairy products, there are many different cheeses, milk, yogurt and other  products.   Fans of non-standard pastimes will surely appreciate horseback riding in the Sochi National Park surrounded by mountains, forests, gorges and rivers. Each route is developed taking into account the level of capabilities; there are options for those who are just starting to master this type of leisure, as well as for experienced riders. Before the start of the tour, time is allocated for compulsory briefing; guests receive helmets with an individual balaclava. Tourists get acquainted with their horses and are allowed to do several independent trials in the arena. When the preparations are finished,   guests go to the mountains. One full walk lasts from an hour to four hours.

Travelers who have visited this place note the benevolent atmosphere of the farm  and the benefits received from lectures telling about the nature and safety of livestock and agriculture. Here, natural objects are within walking distance, and communication with animals cheers up.
