  3. The largest city in terms of population is Moscow again. It is also a leader  in terms of population growth.
  4. The northernmost city of Russia is Pevek, located in Chukotka. And the most northern city in the world with a population of more than 100 thousand inhabitants is Norilsk.

  5. The southernmost city of Russia is Derbent, the cultural center of Dagestan.
  6. The cleanest city in Russia is Sarapul, which is in Udmurtia.
  7. The most ecologically dirty city in Russia is Norilsk.

  8. The city with the least number of sunny days in the year is Yakutsk, on average 223 days annually are overcast.
  9. The most rainy city is North-Kurilsk.
  10. The warmest Russian city is Sochi (read 25 Interesting Facts about Sochi),  while the coldest is Oimyakon.
