Russian Winter: Skating in Yekaterinburg

If you want to go skating, why not do it in Yekaterinburg? There is plenty of ice skating rinks in this cold city, where you can feel real Russian winter. 
We present you a list of several Yekaterinburg's ice skating rinks, icluding addresses, opening hours, prices and other useful information.

Central Stadium Ice Rink
It is one of the biggest and the most comfortable ice skating rinks in Yekaterinburg
Address: 5, Repina Street.

Hours: weekdays from 14:00 to 22:00, weekends from 11:00 to 23:00.

Prices:
Entrance fee: 100 rubles (adults), 50 rubles (schoolchildren).
Skate hire: 150 rubles per hour.

Services: checkroom (free of charge), cafe with TV, skate sharpening (100 rubles), car park, training programs for children and adults, ice discos.

Ice Rink “Yunost”
Address: 32a, Kuibysheva Street, “Geologicheskaya” metro station. 

Hours: weekdays from 19:00 to 22:00, Saturday from 17:00 to 22:00, Sunday from 15:00 to 22:00.

Prices:
Entrance fee: 100 rubles (adults), 50 rubles (schoolchildren).
Skate hire costs up to 120 rubles per two hours, depending of type of skates. The pledge is 1000 rubles or mobile phone or driving license.

Services: checkroom (30 rubles), skate sharpening.

Ice Rink “Kalininets”
Address: 48, Krasnoflotsev Street, “Prospekt Kosmonavtov” ,etro station. 

Hours: daily from 10:00 to 22:00.

Prices:
Entrance fee: 30 rubles.
Skate hire: 100 rubles per hour. The pledge is 2000 rubles or any document.

Services: checkroom (20 rubles), music, cafe bar.

Ice Rink “Energy”
Address: 3, Stachek Street.

Hours: weekdays from 16:00 to 22:00, weekends from 14:00 to 22:00, holidays from 12:00 to 22:00.

Prices:
Entrance fee: 30 rubles.
Skate hire: 100 rubles per hour. The pledge is 2000 rubles or passport.

Services: checkroom (10 rubles).

 Ice Rink at the stadium “Himmash”
Address: 1a, Dagestanskaya Street.

Hours: weekdays from 17:00 to 22:00, weekends from 12:00 to 22:00.

Prices:
Entrance fee: 50 rubles. Children less than 5 years old, pensioners and schoolchildren enter free.
Skate hire: 100 rubles per hour. The pledge is 1000 rubles or passport or driving license.

Children's Stadium Ice Rink
Address: 30/A, Kirovgradskaya Street, “Uralmash” metro station. 

Hours: weekdays from 17:00 to 21:00, weekends from 12:00 to 21:00.

Prices:
Entrance is free of charge if you come with your own skates.
Skate hire: 100 rubles per hour. The pledge is 2000 rubles or any document.

Services: skates sharpening (100 rubles), checkroom (free of charge), good music and illumination, school of figure skating.

Ice Rink at Mayakovsky Central Park
Address: 230, Michurina Street. 

Hours: daily from 11:00 to 23:00.

Prices:
Entrance fee: 100 rubles (adult), 50 rubles (children).
Skate hire: 100 rubles per hour (adults), 50 rubles per hour (children and pensioners).

Services: skates sharpening (100 rubles), individual and group trainings.

EXPO Ice Rink
This ice skating rink is rather big - 18,000 square meters.
Address: 2, Expo Boulevard

Hours: weekdays from 10:00 to 23:00, weekends from 10:00 to 24:00.

Prices:
Entrance is free of charge if you come with your own skates.
Skate hire: from 150 to 250 rubles per hour, depending on the time and day of the week.

Services: car park, ice bar with tea and coffee, Christmas tree market.
