July 12, 1957 is considered the birthday of the Novosibirsk airport. On this day, the first passenger flight to Moscow was conducted, and in 1972 Tolmachevo celebrated its millionth passenger. In honor of the 55th anniversary of the airport on the territory of Tolmachevo, a Tu-154 aircraft monument was established. It became the first exhibit of the local aviation museum.

Airport terminals  

The airport has two passenger terminals: Terminal A for domestic flights in the country and Terminal B for international flights.

In both terminals of the Tolmachevo Airport there are cafes, bars and restaurants of American, Italian and European cuisine, a duty free area of shops (in the international terminal), a chocolate shop, souvenir shops (including Siberian products), minimarkets, shops with a wide range of products - from sportswear and elite tea to toys and goods for hunting and fishing. There are also offices of travel agencies, banks and ATMs, a pharmacy, a luggage room (250 RUB per day for a piece of baggage), a post office (open from 9:00 to 18:00),  a business hall, a VIP-hall and the SkyPort 4* hotel  (located 300 meters from the station square). How to get to the airport

Tolmachevo is located on the outskirts of Novosibirsk. You can get to the city center by bus, shuttle bus, trolley bus or taxi.

Bus and shuttle bus

Bus number 111e runs from  4:00 to 22:30 every 30 minutes and arrives at the bus station, passing the railway station on the way. The journey time to the final stop is 50-60 minutes, the fare is 38 RUB. The train station can also be reached by bus number 312, the interval is  5-20 minutes, depending on the time of day. Bus number 112 runs from the airport to the shopping center "Mega", from 5:40 to 21:00. Trolleybus No. 401 runs to Kalinin Square. Operating hours are from 6:45 to 19:26.

Train

From January 14, 2015, for the convenience of passengers, a stop was made at the Ob railway station near the airport, from where you can take a train to Novosibirsk or other cities of Siberia.

You can get to the station from the airport terminal by buses No. 111E (every 30 minutes), No. 112 (every 20 minutes), No. 122 (every 30 minutes) and No. 312 (from 5 to 20 minutes). A taxi to the station will cost 200-300 RUB. The road by any transport will take no more than 7 minutes.
