 Rostov Region is world famous for its cultural and folk traditions. It is the region of vast spaces and mighty rivers, the place where the Don River flows into the Azov Sea. Its prominent history and folklore attracts tourists from all over the world. Air
 
There are daily flights to Moscow (Vnukovo airport).
 
Train
 
A fast train from Moscow’s Kursky station takes 23 hours. Some trains to/from Moscow go via Kharkiv (Ukraine). Rostov has a huge web of daily service to/from Astrakhan (24 hours), Volgograd (16 hours), and Sochi (14 hours).
 
Boat
 
There are occasional boats to/from Moscow via Volgograd in summer.
