An exhibition of new helicopters by almost all world manufacturers will take place in Russia soon. On May 15-17, 2008, Russian and foreign companies will present their bestsellers and novelties of all aspects of the helicopter industry: from designing and manufacturing to exploitation. For the first time ever in the Russian capital there will be demonstrated not only Russia-made legendary Mi and Ka, but also helicopters by foreign companies, such as Eurocopter, Agusta Westland, MD, Robinson and other.

HeliRussia 2008 is the first exhibition in Russian history dedicated to helicopters only. The initiator of hosting the exhibition in Moscow was Association of Helicopter Industry.

HeliRussia 2008 has caused a great interest in foreign manufacturers, including such companies as Eurocopter, Agusta Westland, Bell Helicopter, Turbomeca, HRSMITH, Martin-Baker Aircraft, Isolair Ltd, Kamatics, H+S Aviation, Pall, and other. One of the most authoritative organizations of the helicopter industry – Helicopter Association International (HAI) headed by Matt Zuccaro - will also take part in the exhibition as one of the exhibits. A representative of the famous helicopter dynasty Igor Sikorsky, member of the Board of Directors of Sikorsry Aircraft, is also expected to participate in the event.

HeliRussia 2008 will also present an intense business programme. In the framework of the exhibition it is planned to organize a conference called Problems of Aviation Safety of Helicopters and Flights and a round table dedicated to safety and health protection of helicopter exploiters and industry employees.
