On October 1 the 3rd annual Gastronomic Festival (or so-called cooks` biennale) opened in Moscow and will last till November 1. This month the city’s 50 best restaurants are taking part in the festival that is aimed at demonstration of the latest tendencies of the catering industry and achievements of the restaurants that have already become an essential part of the Moscow’s cultural and social life.
All perceptive judges of tasty, high-quality, and modern food will have a chance to get acquainted with the authorial arts of chief cooks and maybe find new addresses on the map of restaurants of the Russian capital.
Each restaurant-participant has presented special degustation menu-sets that include the dishes most fully reflecting the cuisine character and cooks` skills, food quality and technologies that restaurants are proud of most of all. A price of one degustation set is said to be equal to a price range not exceeding 2000 Russian roubles (US$82 approximately).
