An interesting trip can be arranged not only in summer. So if you are planning vacations in winter, go without any doubt. Russian resorts offer skiing or snowboarding, enjoying  majestic mountains, volcanoes, dog sledding... there are a lot of ideas. But here we recommend something more unusual, like hot springs surrounded by snow, winter rafting and fishing.

Tyumen Hot springs

Tyumen hot springs are a kind of visiting card of the Tyumen region, especially in winter, as it is such a pleasure to bask in hot water surrounded by snow. You can come for one day, or  stay in a hotel  near springs to prolong the effect of the healing water. Some resorts have all the infrastructure (spa hotels, thermal pools, gazebos, restaurants, baths, slides, etc.).  There are many inexpensive flights from different cities of the Russian Federation.

Thermal springs of Krasnodar Territory and Adygea

There are 15 thermal springs on the territory of Krasnodar Territory and Adygea. For example, the Laba sanatorium with a huge territory or the Tavush recreation center with water temperatures up to 90 degrees, and the springs in the Lago-Naki plateau region will delight you not only with curative water, but also with excellent views.  Choose the sanatorium or recreation center where you would like to relax - there are plenty of them.

Winter rafting in Adygea

It is worth coming to the area of the Lago-Naki plateau in Adygea in winter for rafting down the Belaya River. Thanks to the mild climate, the river does not freeze, and the rafting will give you truly unforgettable emotions. Choose raft or kayak and study the variety of the roots. It is possible to combine rafting and bathing in thermal springs. An hour and a half of rafting costs about 1200 rubles.

Winter fishing in the Astrakhan region

Fishing is what Astrakhan is known for, in addition to watermelons in summer. In winter you can fish both from the shore and on the ice, your trophies here will be pike, perch, bream, and pike perch. Local recreation centers on the Volga and other rivers offer not only accommodation, but also equipment rental.
