The Best Outdoor Swimming Pools in Moscow

Outdoor pools in Moscow will be the perfect way to enjoy summer near water. For your convenience, we have prepared a list of the best outdoor pools in Moscow.

1. Outdoor pool Aquacomplex "Luzhniki"

In the summer complex, there are two open-air pools - a large sports pool with 8 lanes (50 meters) and a small one for water recreation (20 meters).  The pools are equipped with modern systems of cleaning and water heating - you can forget about the terrible smell of chlorine. The only drawback of the complex is the lack of a beach area, so you can only sunbathe on the marble walkways around the pool.

Opening hours:
Daily from May to September, from 07:00 to 23:00
Length of session: Athletic: 1 hour, 2 hours; Beach: 3 hours, full day
Tariffs:
Weekdays: 750 - 950 rubles (hour); 1400 - 1800 rubles. (2 hours)
Weekends: 850 - 1000 rubles (hour); 1500 - 1800 rub. (2 hours)
For pensioners and students - 350 rubles per hour  (weekdays from 11:00 to 14:00)
Beach pool: from 1500 rubles.


 
2. Beach "Port on VDNKh"

On the area of more than 1.5 hectares there is a beach area with four pools, a bar and a restaurant, a stage with a dance floor and sports facilities for yoga, dancing and other sports. This season, the Port on VDNKh promises concerts of stars, beach parties, sports competitions, as well as a variety of gastronomic sites. In addition, there is an electronic bracelet system on the beach - with the help of bracelets, you can buy any goods on the beach and pay for purchases later.
 
Working hours: 10:00 to 22:00
Tariffs:
The duration of the session is 3 hours:
-zone standard with a bed without mattress (weekdays / weekends ) - 800 rubles / 1500 rubles
-zone VIP with a bed, mattress and towel (daily / out) - 2000 rubles / 3000 rubles
- “evenings” tariff 20:00-22:00 - 350 rubles



3. "The Basseyn" in Sokolniki Park

There are two open summer pools (one of them is heated), volleyball, board games such as table tennis,   deck chairs, an aerobics club, rental of sports equipment and towels, locker rooms, showers,  and cafes with summer terrace.

Every  day: 10:00 to 22:00
Tariffs: 
Prices for entry on weekdays (session/all day): 
area standard — 400 rubles/600 rubles
VIP area — 500 rubles/1100 rubles
Prices for entry during the weekend (session/all day): 
zone standard — 600 rubles/1400 rubles 
VIP area — 800 rubles/1700 rubles 


 
4. Pool “Chayka”

Despite quite high prices, the swimming pool in the center of Moscow is very popular: it is located not far from the Park Kultury metro station, and you can also sunbathe on the wide grandstand in front of the pool. There are two adult pools and one for children.  
 
Working hours:
Monday-Saturday - from 7:00 to 22:45
Sunday - from 8:00 to 21:00
Tariffs:
Length of session: 60 minutes
Full day - 2000 rubles
Two hours - 1000 rubles



5. Pool and Restaurant Shore House

Address: Crocus City, 66th km of Moscow Ring Road, Moscow Region

The project of Arkady Novikov “Shore House” combines a yacht club and a restaurant. On its territory there is a swimming pool, a restaurant with European cuisine  and a bar. In the recreation area there are mattresses, deck chairs and umbrellas, there are also changing rooms.

Daily from 11:00 to 21:00
Tariffs:
Swimming pool and beach:
Weekdays - 1 000 rubles (entrance, towel, chaise lounge)
Weekend - 2 000 rubles (entrance, towel, chaise lounge)
