New Strategies For the Development Of Industry Sectors Will Be Introduced

The Ministry of Industry and Trade is planning to invent new strategies for the development of industry sectors and update those previously adopted. The task must be solved in 2017-2018.

“The plan for the next two years approved by the Ministry includes the development and updating of the strategies in 20 industry sectors” – the Minister Denis Manturov stated. Already in the first quarter of 2017 the Ministry of Industry and Trade plans to prepare draft strategies for the development of transport machine-building, metallurgical industry, industrial production of rehabilitation products.

The second quarter will involve the program documents on the development of agricultural machine-building, the industry of children’s goods, processing, utilization and disposal of the waste from production and consumption. A draft strategy of the development of the machine tool design industry for the period up to the year 2030 will be submitted to the Government for approval in June.

This strategy implementation is aimed at removal of the critical dependence of domestic machine tool design industry on imported components. And the strategies for the development of the aviation industry, food machine-building, national art crafts should be finalized by the end of the year.
