The National Chamber of Fashion with the support of the Fashion Fund announced the dates of the online Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia. On April 4 and 5, new collections will be presented by both new and already well-known designers.

The event will be held for the first time fully in digital format. The solution is designed to support designers and fashion houses in a pandemic. Within two days, video presentations of Moscow and Russian brands specially prepared for MBFW Russia will be held on the AIZEL.RU online platform and the MEGOGO large media service. Some of the new collections will be available soon.

“We urge the support of Russian designers not only with the familiar tag #MBFWRussia, but also with the tags #stayhome and #stayhomeinfashion. Attend presentations of designers from home, get ready, choose your street / home style look, post a photo, share, like - all this will support talents in the current conditions,” the President of the National Fashion Chamber Alexander Shumsky said.

Initially, streams from presentations and private shows were planned. However, due to new restrictions in Moscow and in order to prevent the spread of the virus, the organizers abandoned the idea of live broadcasts from show rooms and  closed venues.

“Even the minimum working group for organizing one stream makes 10-15 people, including models, makeup artists, cameramen, etc. In today's situation, the best thing the fashion industry can tell the world is #stayhome, stay home, be responsible. Our online event has been prepared completely remotely,” Alexander Shumsky says.

Fashion Week will be held in the format of video presentations of new collections. Some of the collections will be presented in the form of lookbooks. The #MBFWRussia Fashion Week website and media partners will add fresh content about new collections throughout April.

During the online Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia, new collections will be presented by: IGOR GULYAEV, RUBAN, RED SEPTEMBER, / SELFÉTUDE, JULIA DALAKIAN, ELENA SOUPROUN, N.LEGENDA, BO.G.A.CHI. Borzova Gala | Alena Chipura, MADFRENZY, WHITE CROW, AMPLITUDA, SL1P, ÓNOMA :, ASOMATAV, Yana Besfamilnaya, SERAYA, velinask, LUTANI, VAKPROJECT, T3CM, OLYA KOSTERINA, ophelica, HOUSE OF LEATER, SAE LEAEER, SAE LEAEER, SA VILENA TIMOSHENKO and others.

For the first time in Russia, it will be possible to pre-order new collections of Russian designers presented online through the
leading Russian online store of designer clothes AIZEL.RU.

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Russia has also teamed up with the #
(Moscow is with you) project, which is now especially relevant when everyone is at home. Every day, it is filled with online events that represent various venues. Video presentations of new collections of Russian designers will be posted on the stayhome.moscow project website.

You can follow online presentations of new collections of designers from anywhere in the world.
