Spring-Summer Season 2018 By ALEXANDR ROGOV

Fashion show from ALEXANDR ROGOV was a parade of season's trends but in brand's DNA style: designer played with sporty chic, verticals stripes, asymmetric cuts in basic garments adding some eclectic accessories. Powdery silk was employed in midi skirt with a basque and cropped pants with piping. Pencil skirt, top with lengthy back, high vent dress, all were made of striped silk. Among other highlights were a jumpsuit, a jacket, pleated skirt with collection's print (white, red, rose flowers on minty green background); total denim look - glittering jacket and jeans plus lavender top with lengthy front element. Trend in pallet (fuchsia and red) were on a neck scarf and turtleneck top. Accessories featured branded elastic bands (on the belt, head and neck), patches (fire and heart), embroideries "LHOAVTEE" (a combination of LOVE and HATE), metallic pumps, cropped stockings boots.

Alexandr Rogov brand was created by the famous Russian stylist, fashion expert and TV host Alexander Rogov in 2013. The brand manufactures full season collections of pret-a-porter. The unique branded sweatshirts with designer's embroidery are especially well known and sought after. The collection was created in cooperation with a number of famous artists and illustrators such as Zhanna Karataeva, Sergey Bondarev, Sergey Ostrikov. The MBFWRussia show will be the first in the brand history. Until that very moment the brand only emitted limited season look-books.

SLAVA ZAITSEV, Alena Akhmadullina, VIVA VOX, YASYA MINOCHKINA (the Ukraine), Julia Nikolaeva, Dasha Gauser, Julia Dalakian, PIROSMANI BY JENYA MALYGINA, YULIA PROKHOROVA BELOE ZOLOTO, IGOR GULYAEV, Goga Nikabadze (Georgia), DIMANEU, Saint-Tokyo, Outlaw Moscow, MASTERPEACE – these and many other designers whose names are already familiar to the fashion world present their collections at the runways of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia. Talented new-comers who are traditionally supported by Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia also demonstrate their works.  ‘Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia is a large professional event that meets all the requirements the fashion week might claim. For me personally the quality and convenient venue of the event are very important, and in this respect MBFW Russia is perfectly organized and well-coordinated! I enjoyed the participation in the Fashion Week and happy to use the opportunity to present my collection at the Russian market. Russian designers are lucky to be part of MBFW Russia and demonstrate their collections at the runway that can be fairly referred to as one of the best in the world’ - Giles Deacon, designer of Giles brand, participants of the 25th Season.
