"As long as I can remember, I have always tried to do something fashionable and beautiful. I was really inspired by interpreting all the existing facilities my life  : school uniform skirt for practicing in choreographic hall , even camping equipment.  To make just a " beautiful dress " was not interesting for me. I always mixed colors and silhouettes, using all the available means ... "

After graduating from the State Academy of Consumer Goods and Services  in 1995 with a Degree in "artist - Designer of Products of Textile and light Industry " - Julia successfully defended a diploma under the direction of V.M.Zaitsev and returned to Sochi, where continued to work in Sochi Fashion House.
Besides the collections creation for the fashion theater "Mini Maxi", since 1997 she has become a constant participant of fashion festival " Sochi Indian summer" , became a winner of the Grand Prix of the fifth fashion festival " Sochi Indian summer" (a "China Syndrome" collection). In 1998 she won the 2nd place in the contest of professional fashion designers named after Nadezhda Lamanova . Also, Julia became a winner of the Russian round of the International Competition of Young Designers «DREWS» ( Germany).
Since 2006, all clothes designed by Julia has been made under the registered trade brand «IVANOVA». For some time the designer preferred to work only with individual customers continuing to make regular small seasonal collections.
The designer prefers to use natural materials, such as cotton, silk, viscose, wool and knitted fabric made of natural or mixed fibers. The style can be defined as a fusion, because the mixture of feminine silhouettes and elements of clothing from a man's suit can always be clearly seen there.
