Although I have only viewed the photographs of the 911 memorial, I felt the passion of your beautiful sculpture. Well done. You honor us.

My son today told me about your amazing sculpture gift to the United States. This is how I found out about your scultpure. It was not the news media or some magazine, but a 15 year old boy who learned about it from one of his teachers and was truly touched by the majesty and saddended that there was so little coverage in the American press. He instantly knew this was something I would want to know about. I am heartbroken that the American people were not shown this wonderful, inspiring, and insightful gift. It should have been covered by any organization that purports to be a news organization. I am amazed that Presiden Putin attended the ground breaking and I am ashamed that our own president did not even attend such an historic moment. I will endeavor the tell as many people of my country about your selfless gift and the friendship shown by the Russian people in erecting this astounding sculpture. You are truly a visionary and certainly deserved more public acclaim than was given. I would also like to thank President Putin for realizing the impact these tragedies had on the American people and supporting this gift. Thank you from at least one American.
