Birobidzhan

Birobidzhan is the administrative center of the Jewish Autonomous Region of the Far East Federal District. It is located in Sredneamursky Lowland on the banks of River Bira.

Approximate population of Birobidzhan is over 75 thousand persons. The city’s area makes about 171 square kilometers.
