Saratov
Saratov is a city in the southeast of the European part of Russia, the administrative center of the Saratov Region.
The city stands on the right coast of the Volgograd water basin and is approximately equally spaced between Volgograd and Samara.
Culture
Since the 1860s across Saratov harmonica (concertina) with an original timbre, more powerful sound and presence of hand bells became well-known all over Russia. In due course the Saratov harmonica became widely spread and began to be included in ensembles of Russian folk instruments.
The sights of Saratov’s cultural heritage include the Saratov Conservatory, the St. Trinity Cathedral in the Museum Square, the Saratov Radischev State Arts Museum, and Pavel Kuznetsov House Museum.

The Memorial complex «Victory Park» on Sokolova Hill includes the Open-air Museum of Military Machines, Monument “Cranes” to Saratov soldiers perished in the Great Patriotic War, and Open-air Museum “National Village”
