Cruiser Aurora

For half a century already a silhouette of the cruiser Aurora has been rising above the Petrogradskaya embankment. The monument of Russian shipbuilding cruiser Aurora saw many events of the contradictory history of the 20th century. The defender of Russia in three wars, the participant of revolutionary storms of February – October 1917, the cradle of many sea officers, and, after all, the museum, Aurora remains ship number one of the Russian navy. Aurora draws the attention of the entire world with its legendary past and symbolical present.
