    St. Petersburg

The main means of transportation around St. Petersburg are: metro, municipal public transportation, and taxi. Although it is difficult for a tourist to make out all the routes and traffic patterns of city buses, trolleys and trams. So it is highly recommended that you use metro, route taxi, or a regular taxi.

Metro is one of the places of interest of the city. There is only one minor disadvantage of using the metro: your point of destination (or departure) might be far from the closest metro station.

Route taxi can be found almost in every part of the city, but it’s not easy for a person visiting St. Petersburg to make out its meandering routes. The best way of going around in the route taxi is “getting to the closest metro station”.

Taxi – the most comfortable and quickest way to get anywhere in St. Petersburg. Experienced drivers are well acquainted with the city and will get you to your destination very fast. All the taxi services work 24 hours a day, but please pay attention to the schedule of opening of drawbridges. For this reason the car traffic is limited in St. Petersburg during night time.
