Museum of the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour

The museum exposition is situated in the gallery of the acting cathedral. It is based on materials featuring the history of the Cathedral, a monument in honour of the victory in the Patriotic War of 1812, and highlighting its role and meaning in life of Russia. A special part of the exposition is dedicated to the story of the creation, demolition and reconstruction of the Cathedral.

The exhibition also includes works by modern artists from Moscow and the Moscow region, who follow the traditions of Orthodox art nowadays.
