Kanevskaya is a Russian town, the administrative center of the Kanevsky District of the Krasnodar Krai.

The population of Kanevskaya makes 44 386 people (as of 2010). It is the largest rustic unit in the Kransodar Krai and the second largest rustic unit as regards population in Russia.

Kanevskaya is the center of one of the largest agricultural districts in the Krasnodar Krai and is famous for high-yielding crops of grains.
