    Tver Region

How to get there and away

Suburban trains take 2,5 hours to reach Tver from Moscows Leningrad station. Departures are approximately hourly. Besides, most trains going from Moscow to St. Petersburg also stop at Tver.

Its possible to get to Tver by bus leaving from the Yaroslavl station in Moscow. Buses leave every 30 minutes. There is also a daily train from Tver to Novgorod.

In summer, ferries and hydrofoils sail to regional destinations from the river station at the confluence of the Volga and Tvertsa rivers. The only boats to Moscow are occasional cruise vessels.
