Maksatikha is an industrial township, the administrative center of the Maksatikha District in the Tver Region of Russia. It is located on the Mologa River, 117 km to the north of the regional center. It is a railway station on the line Bologoye — Sonkovo — Rybinsk.
Makasatikha has the population of 7906 people (as of 2014).
It was first recorded as Maksyatikha in 1545. From 1772 the village of Maksatikha was part of the Rybinsk Volost in the Bezhetsk District and belonged to the landowner Melnitsky. The year 1867 saw the foundation of a station settlement at the Vindavo-Rybinsky railroad and the station was built in 1870. Makasatikha got the status of an urban township in 1928.
