The Samara Region oblais located in a beautiful place where the Volga makes a great U-turn, encircling the Samarskaya Luka, a nature reserve unique in natural features.

Samara is located on the River Volga some 700 miles to the south east of Moscow. Samara now is one of the biggest cities of Russia. Samara houses a great number of buildings where diverse cultural traditions are combined in the unique way, where every mansion in its own way represents the modernistic style remained from bygone centuries.

Togliatti, a small town in the Samara Region is world famous for its engineering industry and machinery construction. Zhigulyovsk, another regional town is proud of the unique nature reserve located in its suburbs.

Besides, Samara Region is widely known for its delicious chocolate produced by Samara chocolate factory “Rossiya” and its barmy beer produced by Zhigulyovsk brewery.
