How to get there and away

Air

There are daily flights to Moscow (Domodedovo airport, Aeroflot). There are three times weekly flights to/from Frankfurt (Lufthansa).

TrainThere are several trains a day from Moscow’s Yaroslavl and Kursk stations that take about 7 hours. There is also a direct train service to/from Perm (15 hours) and Yekaterinburg (22 hours).

Bus

There are 5 daily buses to/from Moscow (Shchyolkovsky bus station) that usually take 9 hours. Daily buses to Ulyanovsk take 12 hours.

Boat

It’s possible to get to Nizhny Novgorod by boat. The Volga River cruise will offer you unforgettable views of Russian nature and old Russian towns located on the banks of the river.
