    Nakhodka

Nakhodka is the most southern city in the east of Russia; it is located to the south of Vladiostok and Sochi. It is the administrative center of the Nakhodka city district. It is situated in the Primorsky territory, on the coast of the Pacific Ocean. It makes Russia’s argest transport hub in the Pacific Ocean. Nakhodka is famous for its beaches and extensive experience in international relations.

Nakhodka has moderate climate, with the average air of 10 centigrade below zero in winter and 18-20 centigrade above zero in summer. Harsh winter frosts are extremely rare in Nakhodka. The best beach period lasts from July to September.

In respect of ecology Nakhodka is rather pure. The city has no large enterprises, which would do harm to the environment. Nakhodka is replete with greenery and surrounded with wood hills. Fine flower beds blossom every summer in the city.

The population of the Nakhodka city district makes 156 44 people.

There are lots of sights in Nakhodka, including various observation points with a beautiful view of the bay. Embankment of the Lake Ritsa has been gaining popularity recently. In warm season city dwellers and travelers enjoy rest at the sea, which surrounds the city from three sides. In the outskirts of the city there are lots of fine recreation facilities. Ecotourism has been actively developing in recent years.
