    Leningrad Region

While Moscow’s Golden Ring of ancient cities is famous for its exciting day–trips away from the capital, St. Petersburg is no poorer in its options. St. Petersburg together with its distant suburbs, their parks and museums is renowned piece of the world’s cultural heritage.

The Russian Imperial family’s heritage has found its reflection in grand palaces scattered all over the outskirts of the city. Not a single one of these is less spectacular, whether you want to stay indoors and explore the splendour of the rooms or just wander around the landscaped parks.

You will have a wonderful opportunity to admire the Grand Cascade ‘s symphony of fountains at Petrodvotetz, to get lost in Pavlovsk’s huge parks, to visit one of Russia’s most ancient villages – Staraya Ladoga, and to see an impessive Catherine Palace in Pushkin.
