Kholm is a Russian town (since 1777), the administrative center of the Kholm municipal district of the Novgorod Region. It is located in the south of the Novgorod Region, at the confluence of River Kunya into Lovat (the basin of Lake Ilmen), 201 km to the south of Veliky Novgorod.

• One of the favourite recreation places in the Kholm District is The Blue Lagoon. It is a natural dam of a Mesozoic deposit plate in the Bolshoy Tuder River. The picturesque lagoon is healing with its curative water due to blue clay bedding in this area. Bathing here is very popular among all those wishing to refresh and recharge the energy.
• Remains of the Rdeisk Monastery of the 18th century are located on the Rdeisk Lake 30 kilometers away from the city of Kholm.
• Former estates of the princes Bobrovs (the 19th century) and the Shakhovskys (the 18th century) can be found in the Kholm District.
