The houses of the town are built in a Soviet style. The new Church of Elijah the Prophet with a high Bell Tower on Gorkogo Street stands out against the general background.

The Monument to the Unknown Soldier stands next to the church. Street names in Aprelevka are interesting: there are those dedicated to all 12 months and the streets that were given the names of famous Russian artists and composers. Tourists interested in history should go to the neighborhood of Aprelevka, in particular, to the former Estate of the Demidov family built in a classical style (Petrovskoye settlement).

The estate is in a dilapidated condition now, but some of the buildings of the 18th century are preserved. The Church of Metropolitan Peter built during the same period is located nearby. Both the Estate and the Church were designed by the famous architect M.F. Kazakov. The newlyweds from Aprelevka come here to make wedding photoshoots. There is Alabino military training grounds near Aprelevka where Moscow victory parade rehearsals are held every year. The battle scenes of war movies are also filmed there. Aprelevka grows pretty quickly, it will be no surprise if it will soon merge with Moscow. There are many parks еhere, so the state of environment in Aprelevka is favorable for the time being.
