Arkhangelsk Museum of Fine Arts contains an impressive collection of painting and ancient Russian icons, including those preserved from XIV-XV centuries and embellished with gold, silver embroidery and pearls. Other fascination exhibitions include those devoted to the dresses of previous centuries and everyday life in XIX-XX centuries.
