If you stay in the centre of Moscow or in the suburbs you can get to Moscow Kremlin by metro.   Moscow metro is not overcrowded in summer – many people go away. Thus it is just right time to walk in the underground. It is very interesting to see old metro stations situated in the centre. Station   Aleksandrovsky Sad is situated just in front of Moscow Kremlin walls.
You can buy tickets to the Kremlin territory near the metro, but it is better to go to see Kremlin territory in the midday – it is rather large and closes at 17 pm. The most famous museums are situated in the Kremlin territory - Assumption, Annunciation and Archangel Michael Cathedrals, the Church of the Laying of the Virgin's Robe and the Patriarchal Palace - you can visit all this with one ticket. The   Tsar Bell and the Tsar Cannon – the biggest and oldest bell and cannon in Moscow are also located in the Kremlin territory. It is also very curious to see the ceremonial of the equestrian and pedestrian procession of the president regiments at the Kremlin territory on Saturdays, especially for children.
If you wish to see the museums of Kremlin – the Faceted Chamber, the Armory Chamber, and the museum of History of the Kremlin Architecture in the Ivan the Great   Bell-Tower you will have to buy special tickets to these museums. It is also very informative to make a tour about the Kremlin with an English-speaking guide. However, such service you need to book one or two days before the excursion.
After the tour about Kremlin you can go down to the Moscow River and take a trip by the water bus. The bus goes up and down the Moscow River and gives you an opportunity to see bridges and cathedrals, old and modern buildings gardens and parks. Then it comes to the berth near the Vorobyovy Gory. This place, the viewing point, is also worth seeing. High Moscow River bank shows an amazing sigh of Moscow centre. This is a traditional place where just married walk and make photos.
Then I advise you to go around   Moscow State University huge building and come back to the Vorobyovy Gory metro station. This station is the longest in Moscow metro. It is situated along the bridge across Moscow river. It has transparent walls and lets the visitors see the wonderful sigh of   Vorobyovy Gory and Moscow State University just from the train passing by.
therefore, the sightseeing trip is rather long for one day, but it worth your while.
