 Irina Pegova


Born:   June 18, 1978

Russian stage and film actress, winner of the Golden Mask in 2005 and 2008, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation (2012).

      

Irina Pegova entered the Nizhny Novgorod Theatre School in 1995 and upon graduation from it in 2001 was  admitted to the troupe of the Pyotr Fomenko Studio in Moscow. She played in the performances: "Wolves and Sheep", "One Absolutely Happy Village", "War and Peace. Beginning of the Novel", "Mad of Chaillot" and others.
Since 2006 Irina Pegova has been an actress of the Chekhov Moscow Art Theatre.
In 2003 she gained all-Russian fame with her first leading film role in The Walk directed by Alexei Uchitel. Since then Irina Pegova has played a great many film roles and remained very popular till today.
On April 25, 2015 the actress became the winner of the show Dancing with Stars in a pair with Andrei Kozlovsky.
Irina Pegova was married to actor and director Dmitry Orlov nd gve birth to their daughter Tatyana. The star couple divorced in 2011.

2008 - the National Theatre Award "Golden Mask" in the nomination Woman's Role of the Drama category for the play "Story of Happy Moscow" (Oleg Tabakov Moscow Theater Studio) 2009 - Golden Woodpecker in the Not Best Actress nomination for her role in "The Return of the Musketeers, or The Treasures of Cardinal Mazarini"
2012 - Andrei Mironov  Russian National Prize "Figaro"
2013 - "ZhZhivoy Theater" Spectator Award in the category "Actress of the Year" for the play "Talents and Admirers" (Vladimir Mayakovsky Moscow Academic Theatre)
