 Luda  Nikishina

Fashion Designer

Luda Nikishina brand was established in 2009 by designer Ludmila Nikishina. The brand is about a nice functional coat: elegant, laconic, classic and not.

Designer by education, Liza pays special attention to the cut. Genuine patterns and unexpected elements of the classic models combined with unusual fabrics and textures serve to underline the elegant shape and make Luda Nikishina coat a contemporary authentic outfit. All the coats are tailored in the closed studio that Luda owns. Small batches and experience of professional tailors are the guarantee of the high quality standards. Only natural fabrics like cashmere, wool, leather and printed jacquard are used in manufacturing.

Last year Luda Nikishina included fur pieces in her collection. Based on the fact that in Russian weather a fur-coat is not a luxury but pure necessity, designer created a collection of laconic and functional fur coats.

According to Luda she was trying to design fur-coats that would be democratic from the point of view of the price but also from the point of visual perception: ‘Our fur-coat translates the light and ironic life attitude, it is not a garment that adds some status to the person’. Luda used the fur of lama, tormentil and sheep for the garments that were tailored in several colors. The collection also includes casual apparel like elegant dresses, cozy sweatshirts, pants and overalls.
