Russian artist, one of the founders of Ukrainian and Russian futurism. Wladimir Burliuk was the brother of David, Nikolai and Lyudmila Burliuks.

Wladimir Davidovich Burliuk was born in 1886 into a large family in Kharkov.
 
He studied at the Voronezh art school and took part in numerous exhibitions of the Blue Rider association in Munich (1911, 1912).
 
He was a member of the Venos-Stefanos art group from 1907 to 1910, and a member of the Gileya association from 1910. Just like his brother David Burliuk he thoroughly worked on the texture and colours in painting. The artist was also a member of the Bubnovy Valet (aka Jack of Diamonds) association.
 
Wladimir Burliuk was lost under obscure circumstances in Saloniki in 1917.
