Klara Rumyanova is mostly known as a voice of the Hare in one of the most popular Soviet animated film series Nu, pogodi!, and as a voice of unusual creature Cheburashka in the Cheburashka cartoon.
In 1953 Klara Rumyanova graduated from VGIK and became an actress of the Film Actor's Theatre Studio. From the early 1950s to the end of the 1970s she played episodic roles in films.
Klara Rumyanova recorded on radio, sang children's songs, romances, and performed poetic compositionson on the variety stage.
In her lifetime she made voice-over for characters of more than 300 Soviet animated cartoon films.
She was the only actress, awarded the title of Honored Artist of the RSFSR for work in animation.
Klara Rumyanova is the author of the book "Woman is My Name".
The actress died on September, 18th, 2004 in Moscow and was laid down to rest in the columbarium of the Donskoy Cemetery.
