Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company plans to sell alcohol in Russia

Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company is set to start selling alcoholic beverages in Russia, reports the Kommersant newspaper. The company is currently negotiating the distribution terms of Jack Daniel's Whiskey and Finlandia vodka with their producer, U.S.-based Brown-Forman.
Today it is Bacardi-Martini, which is entitled to distribute Brown-Forman alcoholic beverages in Russia; the companies signed the relevant agreement in 2005. There seem to be no reasons for the American producer to stop cooperation with Bacardi-Martini, but low sales of soft drinks is believed to push Coca-Cola to negotiating a new contract.
