Russian oceanologists and physicists opened a science and research centre, aimed at developing intellectual technologies for exploring oil and gas deposits, located at sea bottom.
      
      Sea shelf is now a centre of economic, political and other interests of human, beings, since it hosts vast deposit of fuel. Russia also sees economic prospects in shelf exploration, and that is why Russian scientists are working hard on this problem.
      
      The centre will be responsible for development of new technical facilities, like modern submersibles, telecommunication satellites, hardware for research vessels and drilling platforms. Another responsibility of the centre is training high-quality professionals for fuel and energy complex, as well as for developers of equipment for intellectual drilling platforms.
