Chief architect of the Solikamsk town of the Perm Territory Olga Karapetyan has been shot dead near the entrance of her house.
      
      Investigators do not rule out that the murder could be related to her professional activity.
      
      Olga Karapetyan upheld the new concept of the town planning and developed the new master plan till 2025.
      
      She set up the goal to return the historical centre to the old Ural town and in modern districts construct such buildings that would not mar its image
      
      “She had a goal – to make Solikamsk better and more beautiful. It is a town with so many churches and monuments of history and architecture. It is a town with great tourist potential. The potential that nobody dared to implement. But she did” – her son Karen Karapetyan writes in his blog.
