Young Russian inventors received awards from Mercedes corporation for their contribution to automobile manufacturing.
Mercedes-Benz RUS corporation recently held an innovation contest in the field of automobile energy saving and ecological compatibility of cars. The youngest winner of the contest is 11-year old inventor form Moscow, who suggested using laser refractometer for this purpose. This device is able to detect smallest amounts of harmful contaminants in fuel, thus controlling fuel quality.
Other awarded innovations included the project of car adaptation to road conditions and a system of accident-free traffic. Mercedes officials admit the possibility of applying some of mentioned inventions in automobile production.
