The air company of Yamal, carrying out domestic flights since 1998, begins non-stop international flights from the airport of Omsk (Omsk Region) in December, 2009. The air carrier is engaged in the services connecting Omsk with other provincial of Russia, like Tyumen, Irkutsk and Samara.
      
      Among the domestic flights, available now from the Omsk airport are the flights to Moscow, Irkutsk and Samara. International flight to Hannover, Germany and flights to the capitals of the Transcaucasus countries as well begin in December. In the summer Yamal promises to open the flights from Omsk to Burgas (Bulgaria), Antalya (Turkey) and Thailand.
      
      Omsk lies on the Trans-Siberian Railway and can be visited during the Trans-Siberian journey, the tickets for which is one of Russia-InfoCentre’s services.
