The History Museum, Moscow, will hold an exhibition dedicated to the thousand-year old history of Russian pilgrimage.
The exhibition to open on November 24 will have several topical sections. The exhibits include artifacts of Orthodox Christian culture, documents, photos, as well as fragments of mosaics from St. Sophia Cathedral in Constantinople and St. Paul Cathedral in Rome.
The exposition is aimed to present in detail the history of Russian orthodox pilgrimage, show its role in culture of Russia and the Orthodox Christian East.
The exhibition runs till February 28.
