Vladivostok Avia air carrier renews the regular flights Khabarovsk – Anadyr resumed in October, 2009.
Vladivostok Avia is the only one air carrier, providing the direct service Khabarovsk – Anadyr. There is no railway connection between these cities, the waterways are available during the navigation period only, and it is very short.
The passengers had to fly via Moscow when the service was resumed. It means that they were taking a compass through a half of the continent.
You can estimate this distance during the journey on the Trans-Siberian Railway, the longest continuous rail line on earth, over one third of the globe. Russia-InfoCentre provides booking tickets for Trans-Siberian Railway and train tickets for other Russian railway routes as well.
