The air carrier Vladivostok Avia resumes the regular flights Khabarovsk – Anadyr – Khabarovsk, interrupted on the October, 14. The passengers have to fly to Khabarobsk (the capital of the neighboring region) via Moscow.
The flights are supposed to be resumed on the December, 9. The flights will be carried out twice a week on the Tu-154 aircrafts. The troubles were tied with that the air carrier was renewing its park, escaping from the played-out Tu-154-s substituting them for TU-204-300 and A320. The airport of Anadyr (Chukotka) can not accept the A320 aircrafts. That's why the air carrier had to correct its politics towards the aircrafts.
The interruption in the air service between the neighboring regions caused difficulties between the passengers and the producers of the gourmet items made from venison. They couldn't their product supply their production to their Far Eastern partners directly.
Currently there is only one direct regular flight from Chukotka, the flight Anadyr – Moscow – Anadyr of the Transaero air carrier, taking place twice a week.
