Fighting Robot to Replace Soldiers

Russian engineers developed a fighting robot, which is able to shoot from three various weapons and to attack infantry, fortifications and even enemy tanks.

The mobile robot “MRK-27-BT” is designed for fight instead of soldiers, when their lives are threatened. Fire power of the robot is camparable with that of a tank – “MRK-27-BT” has two rocket flame throwers, two grenade launchers, a machine gun, six smoke grenades and 100 cartriges.

Weapons do not have to be adjusted to fit the robot; a soldier can either give the robot his own weapon, or take his and use. The robot is controlled remotedly – from 200-500 metres. Russian fight robots are well-balanced and are able to move almost in all directions.
